Using the Repeater

Picture
The Bay-Net FM / C4FM repeater is located at the south bay site and provides excellent mobile coverage from San Francisco, Oakland and Berkeley in the north to San Jose and Morgan Hill in the south bay.

This Yaesu repeater is connected to the Wires-X network for global reach and normally is joined in the WW6BAY-ROOM Wires-X room.  This Wires-X room  is usually bridged to the DMR 31075 BayNet Talk Group to link the two networks together. Feel free to use this Wires-X repeater for local chat or move this repeater out of the room to whatever Wires-X  node / room you wish.  It will automatically return to the WW6BAY-ROOM room when the local machine is idle for too long.   This repeater is in automatic dual Digital C4FM / Analog FM mode which means that if you go into the repeater on analog FM you will come out in FM.  If you go in using C4FM digital mode, you will come out in digital mode.

Set your radio for 444.425 with a positive offset of 5 MHz.

When using the repeater in analog FM mode, make sure to set your PL encode AND decode to 127.3 Hz.

When using the repeater in Fusion digital mode, set your YSF-DN DSQ code to 0.
